A compact robot vacuum with a smaller dock

SwitchBot has announced its Robot Vacuum K11+ Pro (opens in a new tab), which pairs a compact vacuum with an auto-empty station. SwitchBot positions it for smaller homes and apartments, households with pets and spaces crowded with furniture. The company says it builds on the compact design of its K11+.
The K11+ Pro is listed at an MSRP of USD 399.99, GBP 399.99 and EUR 399.99, with a Canadian MSRP of CAD 499.99. SwitchBot says it is available from its website and Amazon store. Buyers can choose between White and Black.
SwitchBot claims suction of up to 12,000Pa, double the K11+'s peak figure. Its listed dimensions are 24.8cm across and 9.2cm high, with an approximate weight of 2.3kg. The company says users can carry it between floors or rooms. It credits a redesigned air duct with reducing high-frequency noise and puts Quiet Mode at approximately 45dB.
Dust collection and connected controls
According to SwitchBot, automatic dust collection can run for as long as 90 days without user handling. The company says the rubber main brush helps reduce hair wrapping, while the side brush has two arms to help sweep hair toward the inlet. It also describes disposable cloths for daily dry mopping.
SwitchBot lists LDS LiDAR for navigation and PSD sensing to detect nearby furniture legs and wall edges. It says the vacuum can store as many as five maps. Its app offers room and zone selection alongside scheduling.
The company lists Matter-over-Wi-Fi support and compatibility with Apple Home, plus voice commands through Siri, Alexa or Google Assistant. SwitchBot also says its automations can begin cleaning when users leave and finish ahead of their return.
