Keeping HouseTuned useful
A guide can be corrected.
Tell us what needs another look. Reports involving unsafe advice receive priority.
If someone could be put at risk
We prioritize safety concerns and may withdraw advice while reviewing it. An editorial inbox is not an emergency channel. Contact the appropriate local service for an immediate hazard rather than waiting for us.
What to include in your note
Email corrections@housetuned.com with:
- The article address and exact sentence or instruction.
- The model, error or situation that changes the answer.
- The manual, agency guidance or other supporting source.
How we work through the difference
We compare the report with the article and its sources, consult relevant original documentation and review the effect on the advice. Where the evidence does not settle a claim, we qualify or remove it.
What you should see on the page
- A material factual correction
- The article is amended and a note explains what changed.
- A substantive update
- The update date reflects the changed information.
- A small repair to the page
- Spelling, formatting and broken-link fixes do not need to be presented as a new article.
