Coway introduced the Airmega Mighty2 Mini today for $169.99, offering an air purifier for bedrooms, nurseries and home offices in a design the company says is 40% smaller than the Mighty2 (opens in a new tab). It is available through Amazon and Cowaymega.com, with White, Muddy Green and Beige color options.
Coway says the purifier can clean up to 1,043 square feet over one hour. Its filtration has three stages, including a HEPA filter and a washable pre-filter designed to catch larger debris such as pet hair and dust. The purchase includes a limited warranty lasting three years.
Controls for overnight use and filter upkeep
Coway lists a minimum operating sound level of 19.2 dB(A), and the Airmega Mighty2 Mini carries Quiet Mark certification. With Smart mode active, a light sensor changes operation to Sleep mode after the room has been dark for three minutes. Owners can also adjust the display lighting and mute the control panel.
A particle sensor monitors PM2.5 in real time, and an LED indicator uses four colors to show air quality. The touchscreen lets users change airflow speed and check air quality, while a button lock is also available. The timer offers 1-hour, 4-hour and 8-hour settings.
For replacement upkeep, Fresh Starter filters are available now through Cowaymega.com. Coway gives the filter a six-month lifespan and says installation is easy.
