Hisense is rolling out its new PureSmart Duo Series across global markets, including a four-door refrigerator that pairs 611 liters of storage with a 21-inch smart screen for kitchen entertainment and help preparing drinks (opens in a new tab). The refrigerator series uses the ConnectLife platform as part of Hisense's effort to connect household appliances with activities beyond food preparation.
For households that want something to watch or listen to during cooking or meals, Hisense says the screen can stream shows using the VIDDA platform, show live TV and play music. Its Beverage Master feature lets guests select drinks on the refrigerator's screen and work through instructions for making their chosen beverages one step at a time.
The PureSmart Duo Series extends the AI Companion Suite that Hisense introduced at IFA 2026 into the kitchen through ConnectLife. Hisense calls its approach Social Kitchen and says it aims to combine cooking with entertainment and communication, encouraging families and friends to spend time together in that space.
Ice and water are built in
The four-door model also incorporates a system for dispensing ice and water, with both crescent ice and crushed ice available for drinks. Hisense says the system supplies UV-purified water and claims a sterilization rate of 99.9%.
Hisense also describes families choosing a recipe together and using connected appliances to simplify preparation as another intended use of the kitchen setup.
