What this air purifier handles
- Before bringing it home, measure your room. The 2,640 sq ft rating assumes one air change per hour.
- Check that you have a standard 120V outlet near where you want it to sit.
The Medify MA-50 V3.0 is built for large rooms. It moves enough air to clean 1,320 square feet in half an hour or 2,640 square feet in a full hour, so it suits open living areas, basements, or whole-floor layouts rather than a single bedroom.
The H13 filter captures particles down to 0.1 microns, which covers smoke, pollen, pet dander, and common odors. If wildfire season or a shedding dog is your main concern, this is the kind of filtration you'd want.
We'd consider it for a main living space where you want noticeable air turnover without constant noise. On its lowest of four speeds, it runs at 22dB, and sleep mode dims the panel lights for nighttime use.
What this price means for your budget
At $254.99, this MA-50 V3.0 is $44.52 under the typical price over the last 90 days of $299.51. That works out to about 15 percent less than that typical going rate.
The unit uses a replacement filter that Medify says lasts 2,500 hours, or roughly three to four months of continuous use. Factor that into the long-term cost before you buy.

Room fit and filter upkeep
The MA-50 V3.0 is a floor unit, so you'll want clear space around it for airflow. It's white and fairly large, so plan a spot where it won't crowd a walkway.
The filter replacement indicator on the panel takes the guesswork out of when to swap the H13 filter. You can order the replacement by the code B08Y9CQ9B9.
Sleep mode dims the lights, but the unit still runs. If you need absolute silence, the lowest fan speed is your best bet.
When this air purifier is the wrong fit
Skip it if you need a small, unobtrusive unit for a single bedroom and don't want to pay for large-room coverage. A smaller purifier could do the job for less.
If you're not willing to keep up with filter replacements every few months, a purifier with a washable pre-filter might be a better match.
The MA-50 V3.0 is also not a substitute for fixing the source of smoke or odors. It filters air, but it won't stop a leak or a bad exhaust.
