Cuisinart Air Fryer at $113.00 for Glass Basket Cooking

The countertop cooker that shows the food as it browns

This Cuisinart air fryer is built around a glass basket with a top viewing window and an interior light, so you can see the browning instead of guessing. We'd consider it for weeknights when you want an air-fried dinner but don't want to keep interrupting the cook.

The 4-quart basket handles everyday batches, and the digital controls run up to 450F in 5-degree steps. Its five modes include Air Fry and Bake, plus a few others for reheating and holding food warm, which is enough range for frozen food, leftovers, and simple baking without a second appliance on the counter.

The basket doubles as a serving dish and is designed to take a lid for fridge storage, so you can prep, cook, and put leftovers away in the same container. If washing fewer dishes matters more than a see-through cooking chamber on most nights, a standard air fryer does the same basic job.

What this price means against the usual going rate

At $113.00, this Cuisinart air fryer is $26.44 below the typical price over the last 90 days, which was around $139.44. That is a meaningful gap for a glass-basket model.

The price you see will decide whether the glass design is worth the premium over other 4-quart air fryers. If you mostly want crispy food and don't care about watching it cook, a plainer model often costs less.

Placement, cleaning, and what to check before you buy

The glass basket and the crisper plate are made without PFAS, and the basket is dishwasher-safe. The glass basket is borosilicate, so it can go from cooking to the table to the fridge with the lid, but check the lid and crisper plate care instructions if you plan to wash everything together.

Clearance matters more than usual here because the interior light and top window encourage you to check the food from above. Measure your counter space and overhead cabinet height before you commit, and make sure the cord can reach an outlet without stretching across a work area.

Air fryers heat up quickly but still need room for airflow around the housing. Check the listed dimensions on the box or product page if you have tight cabinets, since a 4-quart basket still needs ventilation.

When this clear-basket air fryer is the wrong pick

Skip this one if you need a larger capacity for a big household or batch cooking. A 4-quart basket is sized for 1.5 lb of fries, 2 lb of wings, or a 4 lb chicken, which is generous for one or two people but tight for a crowd.

If you want a unit you can tuck into a cabinet after each use, a glass basket and top window may not be the lightest or most compact option. Check the weight and footprint if storage space is limited.

Finally, if you only need basic air frying and never use bake, broil, or keep warm, the extra functions won't earn their keep. A simpler air fryer can be a better fit for a single job.
