What the Mysa LITE handles in your home
- Check compatibility before you buy. The LITE needs a neutral wire or a second live wire among its connections, and a two-wire switch loop is a no-go.
- Heating systems that run on 24V, such as furnaces and central heat pumps, are also incompatible. Run Mysa's compatibility checker before ordering.
Electric baseboard heaters usually run on a dial or a simple wall thermostat, so you either leave them heating or come home to a cold room. The Mysa Smart Thermostat LITE replaces many single-pole or double-pole thermostats and joins your 2.4 GHz WiFi. From there you can build a schedule for each day, and you can adjust the temperature through the free Mysa app or the controls on the unit itself.
We'd consider the LITE for anyone who wants to stop heating an empty living room or bedroom all day. You can build a 7-day schedule, let geofencing ease the heat down when you leave and bring it back as you head home, and use vacation mode for longer trips. It pairs with electric baseboard, fan-forced, wall and convector models, plus radiant ceiling heat, drawing up to 1,900W on a 120V circuit or 3,800W on 240V.
Voice control through Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa or Google Home is included, along with a monthly runtime email that shows which rooms ran the longest. None of those features require a subscription. If you want in-app energy charts or a humidity sensor, the V2 is the model that carries them.
What the $79.20 price means
This offer is $79.20, down $15.23 from the typical price over the last 90 days of $94.43. That's about 16% off. Keep in mind that the typical price over the last 90 days is a running average of what shoppers actually paid recently, not a store's asking price or an earlier markdown.
At this price, the LITE sits at a reasonable point for adding scheduling and remote control to a room that's expensive to heat. The manufacturer claims scheduling can save up to 26% on heating costs, though your actual savings depend on your rate, your schedule and how well the room holds heat.

Room fit, wiring and daily use
Because the LITE is a line-voltage thermostat, the main installation question is your wiring, not your room size. Count the wires at the old thermostat before you buy: it expects a neutral or a second live wire among its connections. A two-wire switch loop won't support it.
The app walks through each wire during setup, and you turn power off at the breaker first. If local code requires an electrician, or if you're not comfortable working with high-voltage wiring, that's the route to take.
Once it's running, the thermostat joins your 2.4 GHz WiFi without a hub, and family members can share access through the app. The on-device buttons work if someone doesn't want to use a phone. There are no filters or consumables to replace, and no subscription fee to keep the scheduling and voice features active.
When the Mysa LITE is the wrong choice
Skip the LITE if you have a 24V furnace or a central heat pump, because it's designed for line-voltage electric heating only. It's also not the right fit if your thermostat box has just two wires.
If you already own a smart thermostat for a forced-air system, this won't replace it. And if in-app energy charts or a humidity reading matter to you, the V2 is the model that includes them. For a standard baseboard room with the right wiring, the LITE covers the essentials.
