PuroAir 240 HEPA Air Purifiers at $259.99 for Two

Two purifiers for the rooms where pets and dust settle

The PuroAir 240 is a three-stage air purifier with a pre-filter, a HEPA layer and activated carbon. It's built to capture dust, pollen, smoke, pet dander and VOCs, and the brand says each unit can clean a room up to 1,000 square feet in one hour. The carbon stage is the one that helps with cooking smells and new-furniture odors.

A particle sensor reads the air and raises fan speed when pollution rises, so you can set it and leave it. Sleep mode keeps the fan quiet when the same room doubles as your bedroom. With two units in the box, matching filters and controls are just simpler than buying two different models.

We'd consider this pair if you want one purifier in a pet-heavy living room and another where you sleep.

What the pair costs today

At $259.99 for the two-pack, that's $15.67 less than the typical price over the last 90 days of $275.66, a 6% difference. Replacement filters aren't priced in the listing, so ask the seller what a filter set costs and how often the 240 needs one before you commit.

Placement and filter checks before you buy

Leave room around the intake and outlet so the unit can move air without pressing against a wall or sofa. In a bedroom, a spot near the door or a foot or two from the bed works, and sleep mode is meant for overnight running. The pre-filter catches hair and larger dust, though a cleaning cadence for it isn't listed, so check the manual. The same goes for the HEPA and carbon replacement interval. If you plan to run one in a steamy bathroom or a greasy kitchen, confirm the filter suits that environment first.

Skip the two-pack when one room is the whole job

If only a single small bedroom needs cleaning, the second unit may just sit idle, and a one-pack would save you the shelf space. No app or voice control is listed, so this isn't the pick if you want to schedule fan speeds from your phone.
